2025 HS Student ArtLockIn
Art + Students = Amazing upcoming talent! Come see a titillating body of works created by high school AP Art Students from the 4th Annual Art Lock-In held at Stephen Smith Gallery in February. Seventeen participating students spent their afternoon and evening learning new techniques and efficient painting practices to enhance their painting experience from our guest artist, Jen Unekis,
The lock-in theme, “Blank Slate”, challenged students to integrate one or more of the new techniques shared by Unekis into a painting exposing their unbridled creativity. The students’ works will be on display the month of March at the Gallery. Many of their paintings are for sale, providing them with the full experience of working with a gallery and the art of selling. We hope you’ll join us, encourage these students, and possibly make one of their paintings yours!
